With our deepest regret, we have to communicate that our beloved Anna Fernandez, Director of Operations, passed away last Saturday 7th of January in a tragic car accident in Barcelona at age of 51. The whole Spanish Heritage team is gripped by grief from this bitter and unexpected loss.

Anna was born in Frankfurt, Germany on the 21st of July 1965. She was raised and educated in Germany and after finishing her University studies she moved to the Canary Islands, Spain to finally end up living in the birth-place of her parents in Barcelona.

Anna worked in different companies within the tourism industry, being specialized in the MICE industry during the last 20 years. Lately, she formed an irreplaceable part of our team at Spanish Heritage, being a valuable support with incredible achievements on the operational side, a very responsible person who took one step further in reaching perfection and probably dealing with some of the biggest and most challenging programs we ever operated. Her level of customer´s satisfaction was the highest in the history of our company.

On the personal side, Anna was a lovely person, with an incredible capacity to have fun even in the most stressful situations and always ready to smile.

We have been honored to spend her last moments by her side and unfortunately it has arrived the moment to say “Auf Wiedersehen Liebe Anna, we will miss you much”.

All our thoughts are with her and her beloved ones.

As Hasan Dinç, President of Euromic said: “We lost a great friend, but the universe received a new beautiful star”.
